Myosotis alpestris or snow capped forget-me-not is a herbaceous perpetual plant in the blossoming plant family Boraginaceae.
The snow capped forget-me-not is the district blossom of Westmorland in the United Kingdom and the state bloom of Alaska in the United States. It develops well all through Alaska in open, rough places high in the mountains, blooming in midsummer. It is likewise found all through the Himalaya range at heights of 3,000-4,300 meters (9,800-14,100 ft). Native natural surroundings remember clammy hilly regions for lush inclines and verdant meadows.
